I am gonna declare it a good morning.  In honor of Dr. Martic Luther King all black crappie were released. (They were too small)  had a couple more that likely would have measured if I hadn't forgotten my "death checker", but a warm spring like day in January and a mess of crappie, no complaints.

Way to go, gotta love this weather! I hope to get out later this week and see if I can find some fish myself.

I dessert warm and in rain gear, ditched the rain gear at the truck, and would have had to shed some layers if I had stayed longer.  60 degrees in January, crappie smacking your jig, Eagles flying around calling to each other, life is good.

Great job!  I'm looking forward to getting back after them.

What's the projections on the water level?  Drove over Pomme river on Hwy 32 yesterday, bank full and rolling.

Brad

Have your visited Limitville lately?

Haven't seen any predictions yet, but Pomme River  was muddy this morning when I crossed it but wasn't all that big by any means.  I would expect the lake to come up some, might even lead to a slight increase in outflow.

I enjoy watching the eagles while out fishin, and there seems to be a lot of them around this year. There were 5 in one group circling around the last time I was out really cool.
