  While reading the website This is fly this morning found our forum member and my friend motroutbum had an article in it. Way to go Randy!

Thanks for the post Billethead!  (all of the photography but two images are mine also they had a mis-print on that one), but its an awesome feeling to get published like that.  Enojy it!  Flysmallie--that is a great little caddis.  It works great fished on the swing, nymphed solo, or even better fished dry dropper.  If I get some time, I'll put up a SBS.

Hook: TMC 2499 SPBL 10-18

Bead: Gold tungsten -Size to match hook

Tail: Caddis Gold Z-lon or gold microlon Trimmed short. This is to replicate the egg sack

Body: Hare's ear dubbing

Wings: 2 CDC feathers (one on each side, the length of the body)

Overwing: partridge feather.  (cut off the tip so there is a V-notch, lay the partridge on top and use your thread to distribute the fibers around the fly....almost like spinning deer hair but not quite)

Antennae: 2 strands of krystal flash

Collar: hares ear
