What's the story with them while we have this RPS on here. I know I'm making him sound like al Linder but I think he knows more I would bet, he know more than all of us put together about a great many things. I hope to be able to spend more time with him, asap Have you heard any more from Whiteriver Lures ?

Get in the truck and knock on his door I have met him and fished an area of tablerock with him. He promptly caught a walleye and I got skunked. I should have stayed closer, you can bet if I get a chance again I will.
Hammer time Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 If you're ever in the mood for fish, buy some ocean perch or talipa at the store, much more economical than spending tons of money going fishing. Put the math to it the next time you bring home bass to eat, the cost is 10 times the pound.

Thank you for being civil . I am picking up what you are putting down.
Hammer time Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 Dan, everyone has the right to keep bass crappie or any other species within legal limits. I don't keep any bass for the simple reason I'm a bass fisherman and they are never stocked and want you me or other anglers to enjoy them again and again. dan hufferd 1
MOPanfisher Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 But I would have to leave where I was fishing, then drive to the store and buy some fish. When I was just catching hem a little while ago. How would that be more economical. Nobody buys a boat and fishes because it's more economical than buying food. Heck I would be way better off selling my boat and all my gear, getting another job and buying fish sticks on the way home. But economical isn't what it's about for any of us. Members ewlech Posted February 3, 2017 Members Posted February 3, 2017 I also practice catch and release and primarily fish Stockton. I have caught several bass over 6 pounds and a few 8+. I catch several walleyes and crappies each year while fishing for bass also. In the spring throwing the Ned rig the wife and I have several days that we put 60-80 fish in the boat while it is ON. Fall time we catch many whites, along with blacks, spots, and eyes. While I prefer letting them go to enjoy another day I don’t fault others who keep a few (that are legal) for the fryer. Don’t let Champ188 (Table Rock Forum) catch wind of this however! I also work at BPS and wouldn't want Champ to catch wind of that either. Walleyedmike and dprice 2
