Got started yesterday about 11 and fished to about 3.

Pretty much same conditions as last week.  WINDY,  but water temp was down to 44-45 up river where I was at.

Everything I caught still was in 7-5 fow 3-5 feet down pushing minnows/jigs.  Just nuts!

Caught a bunch, but once getting to 10 keepers, called it quits.  The wind was brutal.

God bless and pics below.

Outstanding!! A Beaver Lake fishing post.  Lance, you are awesome on those crappies. Thanks for the report Hoping to get out this week. I just wonder if there are any crappies less than a tank of gas from the Rt. 12 bridge. No luck for me in PC last time out. Yeah it was WINDY.

Thanks Bill!  It's a blast!  Best of luck up that direction, it's a different world for me up that way.   I turn and go back the other direction when I see clear water.

Nice work!

I know its very frustrating, but I embrace the wind if I caught that many slabs :)

Lance you are definitely dialed in on those crappie. I can't even recall how many slabs I have seen in your posts. Keep them coming.

Lance, 7-5 fow and 3-5 ft down seems more like a March/April spawn bite.  At that depth I might just try to do some slip bobber from the bank. I can get to Sidewalk hole in about 15 minutes from my house, even less to Blue Springs boat ramp.

Would a south facing bank that get's direct sun be best choice?

Thanks

Wouldn't hurt to try it if you are that close.  Walk down to the ramp, pitch a minnow or baby shad with a bobber and let it sit for a bit then drag it slowly back towards you letting it sit a little more.
