. Its fun to watch the "pro's" strut around.

I  have never been to opening day, only park fished 3 times.  But I seen enough of the "pros" then.  Lol on your comment.  That was good.

I use to be one of the regulars on the "Opener", started out in the High Banks section.  The same reporter from the Lebanon paper would stop by and interview my brother or I most years.  The next day we would get the paper and see which one of us would be on the front page.  My brother made it three times and I made two.

I have not been to the open in about 10 years, but I'm sure not much has changed.  Our condo ritual was to see how fast we could stack the cabinet below the sink with empty beer cans.  That think held a lot of cans, from what my memory serves but I'm sure I killed a few of those cells off during that era of my life.   Had a lot of fun time one those 3 days trips.

I'm going to jump on the band wagon and join the fun.  Talked my running buddy into it as well, so I guess we will drag the 5'er down on Tuesday and spend the rest of the week.  Was surprised that CG1 had spots left!!

Had an Attorney buddy talk me into it this year.  Who knows maybe there will be a NoLuck or Upstream sighting??  Or maybe Jerry may show his scruffy face???

That house is still there Wrench and he (Kit Bond)  actually comes back to Mexico and stays there occasionally.  Matter of fact it is currently for sale for $650,000.  I imagine those old pits still have a lot of nice bass in them as they have been posted for decades now.  I used to fish them a lot in the old days.

I have a bunch of old Kodak pics from there.   The fishing was crazy good even from the bank.

Good to hear upstream!!  Sent you a text.

Does Danny need to bring any extra wood?

I've got some left Pat.  Not a ton, but as long as it doesn't rain much I'll be good. Not sure if Mike got a fire pit or not yet.  I guess I need to buy another load of seasoned wood.

I bought a culvert fire pit  ( cheep) . It'll do the job . Have a small firewood pile left from the previous tenant.
