Hi everyone,

Haven't been to Norfork for several years but coming back this spring. Will be targeting walleye, crappie, and stripers. Trying to figure out where to stay and where to fish. Will the walleye be on points and flats? Are the crappie spawning? Are the stripers still shallow? What part of the lake and which arm should we concentrate on? Recommendations on where to stay.

Thanks,

K

Kramr from what I've been told the south end in the spring north end in late fall. Places to stay on the Big Creek arm are Handcove resort and Jordan marina. Some guys are staying at blackburns resort and going down lake to fish the first couple of wks of April

May is a great time for early morning top water action for striped bass and hybrid striped bass in the mid to lower end of the lake.

Walleye should be in those locations listed. Crappie will be done spawning.

It appears it is going to be an early spring so things might be ahead of schedule by the time you come to Norfork.

I promised I would fish one if they held on Bull Shoals and I did, but no promises to fish more of them going forward .

Hummingbird hideaway and Blackburns have some pretty good fishing reports  they are close to the Henderson bridge.  Both of the guys fish alot and know what they are doing.  We go every year around the 3 weekend of April and have good luck with bass on live bait and usually get on topwater early and late in the day.   The guy at Handcove is not the friendliest guy I know! Lol

Thanks for the input. Will be setting up a time very soon.
