moguy1973 Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Back in the day the Classic was a mystery location much like MLF is today. That's the way it should be but then they wouldn't make any money off it and coordinating travel for 60 anglers to head to a mystery lake would be a nightmare. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
Members Bassmod Posted February 16, 2017 Members Posted February 16, 2017 We need a launch site big enough for a 150 boats. Which we need badly because the marinas even state park charge way too much money for their use (for this type of tourney). Was suppose to get a big public one on TR but good ole dnr backed out. ?
Sore Thumbs Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 That Classic at Grand was the best thing to happen to that lake. Before that the quality of ramps was subpar at best. Wolfe creek is a nice facility other than its super shallow at times.
Champ188 Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Johnny does sooooooo much for the sport, I'm surprised he hasn't built a launching facility on TR. Oh wait, he has. But he charges an entrance fee to use it. LOL Sore Thumbs 1
