Quillback Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 We covered a lot of water today, didn't fish it all, but we saw a lot. Water was stained everywhere, with it being a light brown color further up the White at Stubblefield. I fished with RPS in his boat today. Lots of wood debris in the water from the rising water also. Lots of boats too. Fishing was on the slow side, we boated about 30 bass and one short walleye, all on the Ned. I think we had 2 keepers. Rps got big fish honors with one about 3 lbs. Fish were mostly right on the bank with a few out deeper. Water temps ranged from 54 to 58. 96 CHAMP, dan hufferd, Donna G and 12 others 15
buckwhisperer Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Good job guys, just got home from owl Creek and only had 1 dink K and a good keeper SM on a wacky worm. Was out 3.5hr and that's it, no takers on Ned and a host of other things so decided to come home and work on my brand new livewell valve that doesn't work? Muddy Water and Mart 2

176champion Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 I love it! Light and easy to wear. I have an onyx also. feels kind of short on me as opposed to the fishing vest style PFD...but you do ferget you have it on after a bit. I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything! Bruce Philips
96 CHAMP Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 The reason I asked is I read some not so good opinions on it and thought I would see what you guys say, Thanks
176champion Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 The only issue I have read about is people leaving them in a boat locker and locker is damp and dampness will eventually inflate the best because it melts the little pill or whatever is in the firing mechanism...I don't leave mine in the boat since it sits outside all the time covered. 96 CHAMP 1 I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything! I just leave mine on the seat to dry so that shouldn't be a issue, thanks for the input
