Came down to finish servicing the tub and fish a bit before heading to Norfork tomorrow, got on the water Saturday afternoon and started looking on the Northshore for staging crappie, WT 52, but it looked to me like most fish were still undecided.  Decided to run up the Gravois; found a real nice stain to the water, WT 54 and shad and staging crappie and whites piled up.  Caught a limit of 11-14 crappie, mostly female and 10 whites on crankbaits in 15-20 FOW before heading back to finish my chores.  Beautiful afternoon!IMG_0370.JPG

Headed out this morning after(I thought) the rain and check a couple spots at the mouth of the Gravois( no joy)before heading back up to try again.  WT had jumped to 58 with the incoming runoff and the big sow whites had moved up over night and were eating hearty; boated a limit of crappie and big whites in short order( and a nice shower to boot) and headed back to finish making ready to head south for the week to chase open water fish.  Time to get after them!

Nice haul !

I may get out tomorrow but I'm still chasing green bass.    Hopefully the crappie and whites will still be on fire when I get around to them.
