Shakey heads have a corkscrew by the eye to secure the nose of a soft bait. It looks like an interesting take on a stand-up jig, but maybe a bit snaggy.

Says less hang ups, but I'm with you moturkey looks a bit snaggy. Think I will just stick with the ones with the screw keeper and they are not near as expensive.

Same idea as the old Brush Wing jig, but with wires instead of fiber guards on the bottom. Those jigs were very good in chunk rock and riprap. 

As far as keepers go, I've been using FB shakeys poured without the screw to run the zinkerz. I add a shrink tube keeper at about the same place that head has its keeper. Works great, even with the elaztech difficulties.

Those look like a pain in the but to make, ill stick to pouring simple stuff

Used to get mine from Academy but that quit selling them. Still have some in the boat but very few.
