m&m Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Got on the water about 1pm and fished till 4pm just past Indian Point. WT was 66 to 68. Still very clear. Saw fish on beds but did not cast to them. Managed to catch 15. Only 1 keeper SM. Many 14" though. Stayed with the shakey head lizard and when things got slow picked up the pbj Ned and began catching them again. Saw pleasure boaters just drifting in the main channel so I had to maneuver through the obstacle course. Don't mind them, I just wish they weren't spread out on the S curves. Oh well, sharing the lake is good for all. BTW, I did have 3 hits on a TW horny toad. TW is pretty close. I'll have a couple of extra rods on the deck with TW from now on. Quillback Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 I am getting the top water itch. Bass need to get this spawning business over and get back to eating. Thanks for the report! 96 CHAMP and crazy4fishin 2
m&m Posted April 15, 2017 Author Posted April 15, 2017 Exactly. I'm thinking the 22nd might have some TW action. Mike Quillback and crazy4fishin 2
