Brown Bend access?

Does anyone know if the Brown Bend access is useable or is the water still too low?

A few of my fishing buddies have been putting in there, I have been there this year, but they said it's fine.

Your good to go at 657.0  (which is where we are currently).

Be careful up there very shallow run the old river bed if you have the equipment to do so there are places where it is 2ft in main channel

If you're in 2 fow then you are not in the main channel.   The skinniest spot I'm aware of is 14' at the current lake level.

Yeah if you stay hard left coming out of Rise branch you'll run out of water pretty quick.   The main channel heads over beneath Devil's Chair bluff.  Plenty of water over there.

not to get off topic but have you guys seen the Navionics Boating App? has Great lake bottom contour detail to help see this type of thing.  costs about $10 but thats cheaper than a lower unit or fiberglass repair.  All that said, Ive not actually compared the map to the real thing but it sure looks like it could be a great tool.  I just found it about a week ago.

It's a great app.  Requires a bit of fine tuning, but once you figure it out and get your settings right it is really good.
