I fished with cajunangler. Sure was tough. Tried all over the lake. Tried a lot of things.

I felt like water was pretty ugly, but it was less ugly towards the dam

we caught fish, but not a lot and not a lot of size. We really put in a lot of tine with minimal results.

I would suggest fishing elsewhere until conditions improve / stabilize.

It seems to be getting a little tougher every day.  I can still find the brown fish on old Ned but the size is getting smaller.  We only had 1 keeper Wednesday .

I guess the green fish are in the brush but I haven't found any yet.

Ham, where did you guys launch from? Today was great for numbers, but not much for quality.  I was only able to get out 3 hours due to a meeting today, and when i pulled the trolling motor at 10:05, i had caught 3 fish within 5 minutes, so the bite was picking up as the day went on.

We launched out of Mutton the first day.

We launched at the State Park the second Day.

We launched at Mutton on a day 3 after our first choice was covered up in wood.

We relocated to Aldrich and burned a few fishless hours and some gas.

We caught 40 or so fish a day btw us, but they weren't all bass and most were small. We each lost a 3 lb bass, but you know fishing is tough when you talk about the one that got away and missed opportunities.

I would guess state park between the river arms, BUT the Stockton regulars should answer

Usually  the state park has plenty of parking unless there is a tournament going on.

Roark has 2 parking lots.   There is usually plenty of room at Stockton public use and Crabtree Cove.

Ruark has always been my suggestion to people. Great ramp with 3 lanes, nice dock thats always accessible, huge overflow parking area without having to walk back a mile.

And its in a good fishing area.
