Well now, the answer to this one is almost too easy! You said that you had "tackle for 2 slung everywhere" and therein lies the rub. Fish gods are notoriously persnickety about neatness and organization and are extremely adverse to sloppiness. Line those deck rods up nice and straight and your success rate will immediately improve dramatically! Lol by slung around I ment, this was the first time I fished in ketchups Boat ever and we were fishing a night tournament. We had an array of lures on every rod in there. For those of you who also fish at night you know it can be organized kayos at Times. It didn't help that we both came from an he and a half in different direction and got there 5 min before take off bc of job obligations so it was a little hecktic getting things situated at first. Lol all in all it was a great time and I cant wait to attempt it again.

The fishing gods are only overseers after all and their duties and function should not be confused with those of the Tooth Fairy.
