I always wonder if when they go thru an area at night if it runs fish off....I know the state found out at stockton shocking fish (walleyes) would run them off spawning areas.

ok I owe you a marked spot "s" on a map pic a lake  TR/Stockton..and a species

Could just be coincidence, could be that the shallow fish have recovered from spawning and are actively feeding and thus doing well.  Could be the deeper ones are hanging in the cooler water recoverin
