They were talking about this on Bass Boat Central the other day. Apparently, the "fixed" boards have a rev. 7 on them or something. Hopefully they get the kinks worked out because everybody loves these trolling motors when they are working right.

There is a way to find out looking at your serial number.  If you bought it in the past couple months chances are your good.  I can probaly find out the serial number break from the guy that fixed mine if you want.

Yes it's the best thing since sliced bread when it's working probaly.  Mine literally till now has been nothing but problems with that pedal.

The key fob controls still worked though, right? If so, at least you wouldn't be totally dead in the water, but still sucks not having a foot pedal.

Yes they worked plus the phone app.

 As far as an update on the new sensor I had installed I have used the motor twice and it has worked flawlessly, I think the new motors with the new updated sensor is going to be fine!
