That is an interesting looking jig you use.  I have never seen one with a second eye for tying a stinger.  I'd love to see a mold that makes those.

It is the mold that I'd like to see.  I don't need any jigs like that at the present time.

that link is to the do-it molds site. it is do-it mold model LBS-6-A.

My buddies and I have had periodic success using a jig and crawler at Stockton. Never used the stinger hook however. I like that and will definitely give it a try. One more question Lmtout: You fish vertically. I usually make a short cast and bounce it back like a previous poster stated. Have you found the fish on your fish finder and start hitting them vertically? Do you have some hot spots that have held walleyes and you just go there? Drift very slowly up some points or flats or hold steady on your spot? Appreciate all the info you are willing to put out.

Thanks for the link.  I just couldn't imagine what kind of setup that they had to make the loop on the bottom.

i have a mold for ned rigs that has a groove cut in it for adding a bait keeper. you can buy the keepers seperately. i imagine this is the same way, put the hook and eyelet in the mold, close and pour.

I'm sure you are right on that part.  I have to put an insert in my swing jig molds but it covers the eyelet hole and the hook attachment with one wire.

Well I do about all of that at certain times.  Whenever I catch one I put a way point on my fish finder. And after a while you start to see a pattern develop.  Or like the other day I was bottom bouncing caught a couple in the same spot.  There was some structure there and could she fish on the sonar so I started jig and crawler fishing it and caught 8 in about a 45 min.
