I don't like the fact that Mr. Snoop is crabbier than me.

Also, I post pictures absolutely to brag, hopefully get some good back slaps and "way to go'"s . My vanity needs that affirmation.

So what? It's fishing. Fun.  I don't mind if Mr. TheWhite unleashes misguided vitriol on the forum.

12 inches on a paddle may not be a legit 12 inches Al.

You should throw whatever you have confidence in. I wouldn't have confidence in those baits so I wouldn't catch fish with them. You obviously do so keep pounding on them.

The last post was supposed to be my last, but now it's this one. Lol

As big as your fish stories are, you probably just unzip your pants to see if each bass is 12" too, right?

It doesn't bother me at all when guys talk about tactics or lures. I don't even mind if they post pics as long as they aren't giving away a spot. It gets on my nerves when I read post after post of self serving dribble as some guys try to convince us how much of an "Expert" angler they are.

I don't fish the Meramec very much, just standing up for some of the guys that do.

When you blab about a fishing spot, you don't effect just yourself....you may affect another guy who that is his favorite spot.   Did anyone ever think about that?

Yes, a lot of people know where Hog Wally fishes. There are hundreds of people that fish that section and I can tell you that it isn't the easiest area to figure out and hone in on the fish. I come from wading creeks and it is a huge learning curve jumping into the bigger water, but after enough practice and time I too will get better just like I did on the smaller water. I just started fishing that section because I got a jet boat this year, and I honestly wasn't aware it was the area he lives in until I saw him out there several times (he's also not a bad guy at all and helped me out of a jamb once on the water, meaning I was stuck lol). I have another friend that lives in that area and I stuck to this section because he showed me the areas to watch out for and I am a new boater so I would rather be cautious and stick to a section I have become familiar with, for safety reasons of boating, not for the hopes of catching bigger fish. That being said I have not caught a fish over 14" in that section and I have been out on the water at least every other weekend since June. To bottom line it:  he is not doing any harm by posting that he catches fish on the Meramec. The river runs under the highway a couple times, so it is not like it is a huge secret.

When pants are being unzipped... that's a sure fire sign that we should lock things up and say good night.

I do hope cooler heads prevail on the next discussion.

Thanks
