Fellows musky.

Can anyone give me any tips on Muskie fishing on Fellows Lake it's starting to get cooler weather which I know means it's a good time to fish for muskie. And my boat has a 60 40 jet drive title as a 40 and says 40 on it I know that fellow has a 40 horsepower maximum but how do they feel about jet boats?

Call the marina out there about the motor.  I think if it says 40 you're good either way.  Everyone that I know that's caught a muskie out there has been trolling crankbaits.

The marina posted on facebook recently asking that people wait till it gets colder to fish for musky. Something about them not living after being pulled out into the warmer weather or something. Might look into that.

I knew that they didn't do well in warm water I was like everybody else I guess colder air made me think it was time to catch them

I'm waiting for surface temps to get below 75 before I even consider trying to catch one. Surface temps may be well below 70 before I actually get a chance to go though.

You could go now with no fear of harming one.

I have been discussing musky with my friends that I went fishing and was successful at catching Musky last year. Still seems early. We fished the first week of Oct last year. I hope tha we can get into them again this year. May have to try to get to Fellows or Pomme this year. Good luck if you guys get out for these toothy fish!
