aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Had one on Table rock in a tourney on a crank. Pretty heartbreaking to reel in two 14 1/2 inchers. I thought i had a giant timinmo 1
Hunter75 Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Mine happened this past spring fishing on Norfork. I hooked what felt like a nice fish on a jerkbait after dark. It was pulling pretty good when all of the sudden it just flat took off and I couldn't turn it around. I was figuring I had a nice striper on the line. When i finally got it close enough to the boat to see it I had 2 nice hybrids about 5 lbs apiece. Only double I have ever had. timinmo 1
Stein Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 My largest was last week. 15" smallie hit a jig, 40" Muskie hit the smallie. Landed both. Muskie didn't have a hook in it, just wouldn't let go. Smallie didn't make it but was eaten that night. Greasy B, Johnsfolly, timinmo and 1 other 4
timinmo Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 23 hours ago, rps said: I have had several doubles. All were on topwater or trolled baits. None would have rivaled the twin 2.5's timinmo wrote about. Full disclosure. I never weighted them on a certified scale. or measured them on a paddle or other approved device. I hope you all won't hate me. Now a 40 inch musky or two bass like saluki caught those are things to dream of.
