Only 11.6 won the Toyota tournament, lots of just 1, 2, and 3 fush brought to the scales. All I caught were shorts, it was brutal but I had a blast! Very well run and tons of quality free stuff the best being a very nice Carhartt hoodie and a nice heavy duty duffle bag. The free dinner Saturday at the Big Cedar Outdoor Center was top notch and all the free beer you could drink!!

I fished both Sat and Sun with my wife.  We were in the Toyota tournament and had a wonderful time.  This was my second year at this event and we talked some friends to come down since they just purchased a new toyota.  They will be back every year too.  As far as the fishing, it was very tough to put patterns together.  We caught fish on everything from jigs in 20' to topwater up shallow.  We were one of the several boats with 1 keeper on the ned.  I lost one that jumped and spit my jig that looked like a keeper and my wife had a solid fish break her line while fishing the ned.  While I caught fish on several different lures, my wife caught more fish than me and she threw the ned most of the weekend.

I know that there are several posts in this thread about the amount of boats on the lake lately, I just wanted to say that the lake felt more empty this weekend than most of the times I have been on it.  Never did I pull up to an area and see more than a couple boats even in the cove.  I don't think I was even close enough to talk to anyone in another boat while fishing all weekend, I fished from the dam to past long creek marina.  Don't worry about what how many regatta permits are on the web page, just go out and enjoy the wonderful resource that is Table Rock Lake.

It did feel more empty, I think the weather kept the play boaters off the lake. Ned has been pretty much all we've thrown for the past few weeks and in the tournament as well. Had a blast even though we couldn't bring anything to the scales, I hope they have it here again next year, this was my first and would love to do it again but I heard a lot of complaints about having it here.

You may be able to find uncrowded water but when there are that many boats on the lake, most of the places you need to be are covered up.

It's now also off season for tourists and weekenders.  Wait until you attend a tournament during June-August...  THEN you'll understand what the word "crowded" means.  Not to mention having to deal with the wave action.

Plus hunting season is among us, I don't hunt but it will take a lot of guys off the water also.
