once again a doctor who was not willing to listen , not only ignoring what were saying but talking at cross purposes while we were trying to explain what was going on .  being as how this doctor makes it a habit of triple booking and waits of an hour or more are not uncommon , we walked out of his office and are never returning . 

 he kept insisting we need to do things for symptoms i have never had and paid no attention when we pointed that out among other things .

Wow, I never had that at Barnes/Siteman. Appts were on time and not rushed. Walked in several times with problems and saw doctor or on call one in 20 minutes. All friendly and helpful. Head nurses worked with me on phone or email. 

Amazing how care varies from place to place.

That is why they call it "practicing" medicine.  You have to be pro active to get the care you need at many places, I sure miss my GP (who I fished with) if he did not know the answer he would figure it out or send you to someone who could.  He died diving in Mexico.

Lol, I tried to my my KU Dr. Interested in fishing and mushroom hunting, nothing doing.  (He is Indian or Pakistani) although others are about every ethnicity imaginable but he had no interest in it.  However the nurses (local girls mostly) quickly volunteered to accept any fish or morels I wished to dispose of.  Primary Dr. In Spfld also not an outdoor guy, but found out he takes his dog to the vet clinic my daughter works at, so she makes sure he gets extra special care and the Dr. actally mentions it occasionally.  My wife and my sister (LPN @ RN) are my advocates, I just hang around to get the treatments like the awesome daily chemo pill.

this was the worst apple of the bunch, most of them are pretty good .  i figured why pay for rotten service , if i want that i can go to a fast food joint . 

 

darn glad chemo and radiation are done . my neck never got real bad and it's healing up nicely . my hair is also starting to come back although not real fast . at this point i'll take what i get .
