Flysmallie Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 I agree but as long as there is money to be made that will be more important than the health of the fish.

My opinion is mishandling in the livewells with no slime coat protection. Just too darn many tournaments! Lately I have caught some pretty sickly looking fish too. Pretty bad deal. conorsixtakc 1

shrapnel Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 I wonder if there is ANY lake in the country with the amount of tournaments LOZ gets approved? Has anyone asked the MDC to participate on this forum, I know they have had agents answer questions on other MO forums.

If they had any confidence in what they were doing, and why they were (or weren't) doing it, then they would gladly participate in discussions here. They either think we are a bunch of idiots and that they are too aloof to attempt reasoning with us, or they are afraid of being eaten alive. A closed mouth gathers no feet.
Hydro 205 Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 The problem with LOZ versus Kentucky Lake or Rayburn is the big tournaments only go out of one ramp. Pb2. Kentucky and Barkley have several tournament ramps. if they don't have a release boat all the fish get dumped in one cove in a creek.
