Remember this Sunday at 9:00 up by the mill.  Hope to see some of you out there!

I hadn't looked at this thread until today. If I had I would have made plans to head down to Capp's. Would love to fish with you guys and beat you on your home waters ! Is this always the Sunday after Thanksgiving? Should be a great day. I have fished Capp's one time only and fished in a driving rain for a while. Still lots of wind even when the rain stopped. Good luck to everyone. Looking forward to seeing the winning fish!

Well, put another one in the books for this year.  We both tried our best but we couldn't beat Buzz this year as well.  He is on a streak now winning two years in a row.  We all started out at the upper bridge by the Mill.  Walking down there we met a guy that said he had been tearing them up the last few days.  Apparently they had stocked this year before our event.  That hasn't happened in like 4 years or something like that I think.  Capps is a funny creek.  After all the stockers are gone it gets really tough! lol  duh?  right?  Anyways we all started at that bridge and I think Buzz had 9  and trythisonemv had 3?  I had 8 so I was still feeling pretty good about the day so far.  We fished that hole I think until 10 or so then we all decided to go to the lower bridge to fish it some and then walk up.  When we got there we saw them all stacked up and feeding everywhere on top so we decided we needed to stay!  I caught one pretty quick and thought I would have tied buzz until he caught another one really fast.  After that he was putting on a clinic!  He smoked us with 15 by noon and I only ended up with 9.  I know trythis onemv had 5 at least, but I saw him starting to catch more as I was leaving.  Looks like he caught more after we left.  Buzz kept telling me he was a Frenchie and that is why he was catching or something like that.  He also was trying to use Ollie math I noticed!  lol  just ask him.  It was a good time all in all.  Olive was a big hit along with the Frenchie and I caught several on different colors.  Seemed like I had to keep switching colors to catch mine.  Great day and glad to spend time on the water with a couple of good guys.

Sounds like you guys did pretty well for a three hour fishing trip! Congrats to all of you! You do have to be a little less camera shy and post a few more photos☺. I mean a 3 lb rainbow and we get to see a small brown trout photo. Out of Buzz's 15 fish total at least one had to be photo worthy☺!

Don't know where I will be next year but will put down a possible trip to Capp's for Ollifest XII!
