Not really an Ozark Angler

I live in the Columbia area but this forum is the best (and only) forum for fishing close to me. I am 24 years old and have been fishing my whole life. I hope to learn some things from better anglers than me on here. I fish for everything but Bass, Walleye and Trout are my favorites. I am very interested right now in finding some nice streams for smallies close to Columbia so if anyone has the goods on that don't be afraid to reply. Thanks!

I have a buddy that lives in your area....lots of opportunities all over Missouri..I will tell you google earth is your friend and creating a quality relationship with land owners is a skill set to learn! a gift of a block of cheese to helping fix some fence will give you a life time of good times.....spend some time knocking on a door long before you plan on fishing will get you many a secret spot and even have them point you to great spots

I have lived in Boone county all my life. I do not own a boat and I have never fly fished but I usually get up to Canada once a year to go after walleye. I also have access to some trout fishing on the white river and fishing on bull shoals when I can get down there. And by access I mean grandparents with a house and boat right on the river. Anyway when I’m in the Columbia area it’s mostly bank fishing for bass.

If you ever went eurocarping you might have a blast..we may be having a social in Columbia in the summer so stay tuned

here is a video on youtube from my other friend Brian kinda shows what its about..we also tend to pick up a ton of catfish this way
