Members Bass_assassin Posted December 7, 2017 Members Posted December 7, 2017 Do you guys think this is good line up.Black buzz bait in the morning. Then throw rockcrawler on chunk rock and jigs off deep gravel points then drop shot as a limit filler and follow up bait and spinnerbait of the bite gets tough. Will also be adding a jerkbait and a squarebill on my other two rods. bassfisher 1
Guest Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 are you talking about right now? i have not heard of too many shallow bite reports. anyone else know how the shallow bite is going? most of those that i know and fish with are fishing deep, and that was what i was doing a couple of weeks ago last time i went. bo

Quillback Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 In the "Hotel" thread you started, Bill Babler offered to provide you some info if you PM'd him - give him a shout, you'll be glad you did. I haven't been out there for over a week now, but as Bo said, most of the fish were deep. I did get some smallmouth shallow, but no green fish, dragging jigs. Maybe this cold front will change things. Did see a report where some nice greenies were caught in the back of a cove on buzz baits, maybe that is worth a shot. bassfisher 1

Hughesy Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Better have a spoon on. 30 to 50 feet. Check out some of Bo's posts. He can catch em. evilcatfish and dan hufferd 2
wily Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 I'm not a super duper fisherman...but your baits look fine to me....but I doubt you do much on the buzz bait. Check out the map section up top...it will give you general areas to fish...I would probably fish bluff ends in the main lake the most...with the crank bait or drop shot. The end of bluff across from big m has always been good. bassfisher 1

Members slowbait Posted December 7, 2017 Members Posted December 7, 2017 We had club tourney last Sat. 11.71 won shallow fish, we got second with 10.85 shallow fish. these fish cam off of bluffs with stick-ups or brush right on bank. soon as your bait hit water around wood you may get a bite. Or fish all the way to back to boat and get a few more bites. Fishing 40-50 ft deep is not for me. tends to hurt fish.
