Well last week I promised my brother-in-law we'd go fishing tomorrow.

Now I'm starting to question my sanity.

Who else is going to brave/nuts and join in the fishing fun this weekend?

Wish I was with you guys...  just can't be on the cold water all day with this congestion.

But I hope to get on Taney today and tomorrow... after it warms up.  Fishing on the White and Taney should be excellent!!!

I wish I was fishing this weekend. I've got to cover some work for dad tomorrow since he is out in Colorado hunting elk and Sunday I have committed to going to KC for the Chiefs game. I'd rather be chasing trout or crappie than going to the football game, but I guess there are always plenty of other days to chase after them this winter.

Jigfest - no.  Got a chest cold that I need to shake.  Couching like crazy at night... wouldn't be fun for me or the guys in the house.

I fished for 90 minutes on Taney this evening.  Kinda slow but did catch them on brown/orange head and brown/black/brown headed 1/100th ounce jig under a float.  Good chop on the water...

I’m just getting over flu from thanksgiving weekend.

We hooked 8, landed 5 and threw one back because it was little.

We failed to take pictures though.

I'm still freezing but it was fun.
