Every year Since 1989 the Bighorn River Alliance has hosts an annual Bighorn Carp Tournament on Bighorn Lake to promote fly fishing for Carp and raise money for cold water conservation. It is the biggest Carp Tournament in Southeast Montana.

I never could hook one up on fly rod around here in the muddy water.  And believe me I tried because I have some holes right by the house and I love to hear the drag sing.

I would look for feeder creeks that lead to a larger river, from what I am told some pretty good action can be had on dries...
