tho1mas Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 I got my little raised garden (about 5' x 20' ) cleaned out last week. I got my big bag of beauty shop hair clippings ready. Remember - you must plant lettuce the day after Valenetine's Day along with onions bulbs. Can't wait for some real wilted lettuce with pork backbones (sous vided of course ). Â ness and BilletHead 2
jdmidwest Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 Whats the hair for? Aren't you afraid of introducing toxins into the soil from chemicals in beauty shop hair? Perms, hairspray, dyes are all nasty stuff. My strawberry plants planted in the cells of the concrete blocks of my raised beds made runners all in the bed. I have a whole bed of new strawberry plants that I need to move soon. May clean out my beds today, looks like it is going to be nice. Have a gunshow to attend first.
