Aw c’mon. This was a serious question. The trolling bite was excellent last year, but I don’t know when it starts.

I’ve got some relatives coming to town at the end of March and it would be a lot easier to just troll (given their age)

thanks

Water temps play more factors than date. If we continue with these warm days/nights and warm rain it wont be long.

I mostly fish LOZ but usually whites and crappie can be caught easily trolling once the water starts warming in the upper ends of the creeks.  They will suspend and feed in the upper basins on the way in and out of their spawning areas.  I usually don’t do well trolling for walleye until after they finish spawning.

That's just what I was going to say, because it slowed down in the fall once the water dipped below 60.

I was going to say 55.

I guess it depends on what and how fast you troll.

I have always wanted to try a 3 way swivel weight and a flat rap or other floating stickbait. That you could work slow enough for any water temp.

I might give it a whirl tomorrow.
