Yea the panoptic transducer is out of my price range as well, found them for around 700 bucks.

Yes all lakes i have been to with it were there.  I dont think a guy would be disappointed with any of the Garmins.

I believe this was last years model as the newer one are echo map plus.....Im just trying to get the best bang for my bucks as i don't have many bucks....lol

I know all units have there goods and bads, one review i read about the Garmin 93sv was that the sensitivity only had like 4 settings as helix had 10. This review was done by someone who bought a Garmin back in 2015 so they may have changed that .

I just ordered the Garmin 93 sv from bass pro..

Well that sucks, just got an email from Bass pro saying NOT Available .

Im thinking when Bass pro gets the 93sv back in they won't be 599.

I have found a echomap plus 73sv for 599.99 plus 47 bucks taxes.

I am assuming that is with transducer? That is what they were W/O transducer when I bought mine. That's a great deal if it comes with. I knew the price would drop soon. This electronic stuff is always like that. I just couldn't help myself.

Yep turned out to not include transducer.

Stopped by BP today. They are sold out of the sale priced 93sv and will not be getting anymore. They said they discounted the 2017 models as the new ones have updated features, but the girl couldnt tell me what those features were.

I think you can still order it on sale through their website.   The new ones are touch screen, i think that is the main difference

I chatted with Basspro and they would not do a back order on that one as i tried too.

I just bought a Echomap 73sv plus from BBG marine..
