I fished out of Indian Point on Saturday from 8:30-1:30 and caught zero. That may have been the worst day in April I have ever had. We could not fish the main lake and had to hug the banks in the creeks in order to stay out of the wind. Even though I did not get to fish the exact location I wanted, I still would have thought I would pick one up.

When the weather changes as much as it has been, it can be hit and miss. Those fish in those areas you fished could have moved up at 2:30, or turned on the bite then also, just after you left.  Last week i fished a shoreline at 9:30am without a bite in 2 hours.  I left and went back to that same shoreline at 4 on my way to the ramp, and within 50 yards had 4 fish, all keepers. Motored across to a point i had fished earlier without a bite, and picked up 2 more.  Its fishing.

I was there Saturday also at Indian . I have never witnessed 4-6ft rollers on tablerock until Saturday. We caught fish in the backs of a couple pockets on a shakey head . Fished in the wind for an hour , until it hit about 45mph . Of course the smallies were right in the teeth of it . Boated three in about 10 min . With one being over three . And another large mouth close to three also . All the larger fish were still hammering the jerkbait
