Members kirkton Posted April 17, 2018 Members Posted April 17, 2018 Trying to help a friend figure this out from what I've gathered it's either for the drain to his life wells or for the pump that recirculates the water to his live wells it's in a 84 model champion
Ketchup Posted April 17, 2018 Posted April 17, 2018 looks like one would be fill, and the other recirc. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
Members kirkton Posted April 17, 2018 Author Members Posted April 17, 2018 One ran to the front livewell and one ran to the back from what I was told I assume they are a valve of some sort he said there is a brake line type cable that runs to them from a lever at the console I know in the old Rangers they were little lovers you could foot forward and backwards at the console to drain your Live well
Basfis Posted April 17, 2018 Posted April 17, 2018 Look like remote drain valves. Have to know where the ends hook or positions to say for sure. There are drain, fill and recirculated versions as well as drain/fill. If the latter, skip and use a bailer plug to remove a system risk.
176champion Posted April 17, 2018 Posted April 17, 2018 Drain valves for live wells, has a live well in front and in back...Looks like a Champion you working on. I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything! Bruce Philips
fishinwrench Posted April 17, 2018 Posted April 17, 2018 They are livewell fill/drain valves. Controlled by cables. Looks like you have 2 livewells with a single thru-hull fitting. Probably a single aerator pump as well. Sore Thumbs and MickinMO 2
