mixermarkb Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 Hunter, Cookie's up at Theodosia has a good prime rib on Friday evenings, may be worth the 30 minute run up the little north fork arm for supper and fish your way back. Now to those of you who are becoming enlightened, Myself, 24/7, Ham, Bullshoalscat and BluffBassin and the other Bull Shoals regulars make one request. Every fish pic posted on OaF, photoshop at least one or two boats into the background, then repeat after me, "I like Bull, but it's crazy crowded over there these days" Hunter53, Champ188, vernon and 3 others 6
edyer Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 I have fished both Bull and Table Rock the past five years in the Spring. The bite on Table Rock was great this year during the first week in April, but we did have a few cold days. Catching 50 fish a day is not too bad, and the number of smallmouths sure has increased. I still haven't caught a smallmouth like the 4-6 pounders we catch up here in Michigan. I don't think I would like to be here once the big boats came out to play. Bull is great if you want to get away from people. If given a choice, I would still take my trip to Table Rock in the Spring over one on Bull Shoals, I would love to be able to stay two weeks each at both lakes. Hunter53 1
