While I agree that it's not cool to move in on someone, don't you kinda expect it at a "community hole" like the Pothole?     I do, and consider myself lucky if it doesn't happen when I fish areas like that.

IMO if you really wanted to chill, get away from it all, and "eleviate stress from your job" then you couldn't have picked a worse place to do it.   Basically you set yourself up to get mad at somebody. Congrats on your success. Monday will be here before you know it.

the art of hiding the fish you catch is an art form quickly learned, always land the fish on the opposite side of the boat so prying eyes can't tell.

yep people can be pretty pushy till they realize they are in range of a 4oz distance lead

I'm not at all familiar with the location in question, but in the photo it looks like a bank or a pier right behind that offensive boat; that puts both (or all three boats) within bank casting range, as pointed out by MoCarp, in terms of etiquette, good manners and the golden rule,  all boats that get in the way of bank fishermen are grossly at fault. There is a whole lake out there and the boat is designed to go away from the bank. 

I have to say this, most all the anglers and fishermen i have encountered over my life time were not only courteous but often helpful. Boat people on the other hand are most often not only rude, but also arrogant. When I see a boat with fishing gear on board, I wonder "are those people fishermen or are they boat'oles ". I really really have issues with any one that is comfortable with throwing a noticeable wake anywhere near the bank or near smaller boats.

most anglers are great people way more than the bad few, now pleasure boaters they seem to have more than their share of bad manners, good be the drinking factor IDK ...

I would agree, most anglers are polite and respectful. I stated earlier about not sinking to their level and was joking about hot lapping. Insinuating that we we were infringing on bank fisherman while knowing nothing about the area is just ignorance. The area we were in is inaccessible to bank fisherman. You obviously don't mind being rude and crowding other boats, and that's fine. Its your prerogative. I feel the crowding that happened to me was rude and uncalled for, but is out of my control. I do go fishing to "alleviate" stress, but am not always successful obviously. At least I try to find a productive way to enjoy my time instead the alternatives. Either way, I'm over it and am done arguing about it. Everyone is entitled to their own thoughts and opinions, that is one of the amazing things about this beautiful country.

That cliche bugs the heck out of me.   

Thoughts and opinions are rampant in every country.  They can control lots of things but they can't control a persons thoughts, regardless of where you live.
