bobby b. Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Got out at 7 am and fished until 9 am. WT 85 deg. Tried the long gravel runouts but no joy. Found fish on short gravel points a short distance from the roll off into the abyss at 30 fow over 45 fow Caught a few, some keepers, one SM the rest spots. Hard not to think about what happened the other day just up the way. When I fish in the early morning I often listen to Fox news on Sirius and there were a couple of stories about the incident. I was thinking just how beautiful yet dangerous this lake can be especially down around the darn. A couple of pics from today. Bobby Carl W, big c, liphunter and 1 other 4
Carl W Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 For sure, it’s one of the saddest things to happen on our beautiful lake system. It’s to not think about right now.
STLbassbuster Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 Great report. It will be something we all think about when we go out on beautiful table rock. It is also a sad reminder that we should always be prepared.
Bill Babler Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 Sweet great report. The mother that lost her husband and children along with the grandparents was heart breaking on national news. This may be the end of the ducks and it is for sure going to cost someone bushels and bushels of money. Royal Blue, Jwright79 and big c 3 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
bobby b. Posted July 23, 2018 Author Posted July 23, 2018 My neighbor (about my age, old) was in the Marines as a young man and told me that he saw these used a couple times for transport and they were death traps then.
