Members SuperFluke Posted August 9, 2018 Members Posted August 9, 2018 Thanks @Bill Babler for pointing me in the right direction on Tuesday. I was able to sneak out for a few hours this morning. Here’s my report: The rock was good to me this morning. Got on the water at 5 am launching from big cedar and heading up long creek. We had gotten a bunch of rain the afternoon before and there was a heavy fog, so I stayed near big cedar and did some casting practice 😂 until the sun came up. After that I started running points and humps, keeping the boat in 25-30’ of water. Caught one spot on a drop shot and then pulled up on my third point for the day. It had a sharp break into deep water. I caught fish for 45 minutes steady. They would push up and I catch them on the plopper and then when they went down I’d get them on the drop shot. Didn’t have to move the boat to catch fish on drop shot and plopper...pretty cool 😎. This post has been promoted to an article magicwormman, Royal Blue, Quillback and 7 others 10
Quillback Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 Nice! Always fun when you can see them on the finder and they bite.
