Members Noodle Posted September 24, 2018 Members Posted September 24, 2018 This is my first post. I just got back into fishing last summer after about a 20 year break. I’ve been reading the forum trying to relearn. I put in about 5:00 pm and fished to 11:00. Fished mainly 30-40 ft with jig and worm. I caught two about 14 inches and a sunfish about 4 inches (does that count?). Since I wasn’t getting much action I tried a craw and lipless crankbait. I caught four on the crank with two keepers right on the bank. I wasn’t expecting to catch any with the crank, but it was on the deck and nothing else was working..... big c, snagged in outlet 3, gurzik and 4 others 7
Sprint21fter Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 The joys of fall fishing! Might get a few bites all day and they could all come from a different part of the water column. Champ188 1
dan hufferd Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 I think they come up to feed on the bank at night, more so when there is a moon. I have caught several under areas of the bank that are well lit. I know I am stating the obvious but maybe it will help. I did not do well in the day. I was working for walleye most of the time.
