You all did better than us.  We launched about 730, off the water by 1230.  Fished main points and swings with different dragging baits, a rig and jerk baits.  Caught a couple on main swings around some timber in 16-18ft as it fell off into the main river channel but we struggled to find much.  Id guess 1ft or so water clarity down river from CC launch  and warmest we saw was 43.5 or so.

For a dummy who is new to the area as far as Stockton goes, where is the CC area?

Thanks.

It is a few miles east of Greenfield off Hwy 160.  Your best bet would be to look for it after you pass the intersection of Hwy 160 and Hwy 243.  It is actually the Greenfield area but right at the CC bridge thus most of us refer to it as CC.

Good info.  I would have been lost, in my mind CC was Crabtree Cove.  Greenfield access is what I know the CC bridge area as.

I'd say it is a bit less than a 40 mile boat ride from your CC to the real CC.😋

Yep, but then I dont make it up to that country fishing.  Used to go over west of Morrisville and catch whites and jacks.

About 20, but yeah, a ride for sure.

I thought the same thing about CC after I first joined.

I think you are way underestimating the distance.  It is close to 15 miles from Mutton Creek by water to the CC bridge as shown on my trip meter.
