oneshot Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Drain the water out of everything and put fresh oil in has worked so far. Oh don't try starting a Pickup while it is in water but at night it was pretty. oneshot
MOPanfisher Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Probably makes a difference if it was running or not when it went in. Running and sucking up water = bad. Not running I would say would depend on your insurance. If insurance totals it go on with life and buy another, if mechanic enough buy it back from insurance aND repair. Personally there are too many electronics in new vehicles for me to want to take a chance on it unless it was really cheap to buy back, and then it would always show a salvage title which makes it tough to get much resale out of.
fishinwrench Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 There aren't many spots on the Lamine deep enough to drown a full size truck until you get down close to the big muddy.
