North east of Columbia. Up route Z towards Centralia and east on St Charles road.

I fished there. Every inch of shore out to about 10-30 yards is covered with lillypad-like vegetation. Have to walk through a lot of brush to get there or to a spot where you can cast.

My FIL did catch a nice bass there but it is tough to fish. If you were willing to drag a kayak on wheels back there, it could be worthwhile.

Ooooh!  I knew that as the Hatton farm.  Never fished it but a buddy of mine worked there and dated one of the Hatton girls.  The guy that used to own that knocked a full grown bull off its feet with a fist to the head.  Big brawlin' badazz dude.

Those plants are lotus. They have taken over the shallow water areas over the last couple of years. Typically fish there before they green up and put up new leaves. Still tougher from the bank lately. Thought about belly boats out there.

Not yet, thinking I’ll give it a shot this winter when the bass bite slows down, thank you so much for all of the advice, and I apologize for my hugely delayed response! 🎣
