Passing of a great person here at Bennett Spring

Maybe I am speaking to late but I just found out Larry Peace passed away. I had not seen anything about it on here so I wanted to pass it along. I am 63 yrs old and I can remember when I was 6 yrs old going to his store and talking to him. Larry was always a gentleman and treated us well. Hated to hear of his passing.

First met Larry around 1974. He always treated you as a friend and not just a customer. More than willing to help out with any tackle or fly tying problems that you might be having. He will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers go with his family.

I remember having many conversations with Larry after he noticed my Brittany hanging out of my truck.  We shared stories of our pheasant hunter adventures.  Larry always would welcome Dixie into his shop for some petting.  

 

He will be missed.  Very sorry for the family and all his patrons loss.

My wife worked for him years ago.

Sorry to hear that.  I chatted with Larry often.  I had not seen him for quite some time but didn't know he was in bad health.  He was always a very nice guy.
