Fish24/7 Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Anybody have water temps or any idea if the whites put on their feedbag yet? Usually mid March those sow whites start packing it on!thanks Ham have you had the Cat out on Bull this month? I bet you are getting excited about Spring! I know I am! Daryk Campbell Sr 1
Ham Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 Ham’s BassCat has been sorely neglected. I usually fish one way or the other every week, but I am so much more than ready. I spent some time in the Bass Cat this evening squaring the boat away. I replaced all three batteries this past weekend. Having said all that ; I’m going to be mostly tangled up for the next 30 days or so. We’ve had a weekend in St Louis planned for 6 months. And a weekend in the travel trailer the weekend after that. I think I’ll get one trip in before I head west to sample some OK water. I’ll get pretty Bull-centric after that. I’m going to be trying to put my Father in Law on some Crappie too. I’ll play on Bull until crowds and heat forces me away. I look forward to your trip reports. Fish24/7 and Daryk Campbell Sr 2 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. Fish24/7 Posted March 19, 2019 Author Posted March 19, 2019 either because it's Monday, or they ain't bitin', but lake was pretty quiet today for light wind and 61 degrees. I was doing garden/yard work for about 3 hours this afternoon , never heard a boat today, and I can hear them (bass boats) when they are running around. figured the retired population would have been out in full force on a day like today, maybe they were somewhere on the lake, but not near me
Cajunangler Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 Don't let Ham fool ya. The simple truth is he doesn't want to struggle trying to find a sure bite on Bull when those silly slimy trout bite every day. When water temps at Bull hit the mid 60's he'll be there! Ham 1
Ham Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 I do prefer to fish for what’s biting. Johnsfolly 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

Rob P Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Guys what is the current lake temp on BS? I'll be fishing in a few weeks.
Fish24/7 Posted March 25, 2019 Author Posted March 25, 2019 talked to 3 people , i'm hearing high 40's , low 50's, not to say there isn't cooler or warmer somewhere, but seems to be about that range on average, last report I had 49-50 at the mouth of a couple creeks in Theo arm
