Members Dirtrider389 Posted April 10, 2019 Members Posted April 10, 2019 So I live a little less than 10 minutes from charity access, if I put in and floated down what would the next take out be and how long a float would that be? And is the fishing any good?

fishinwrench Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Williams Ford to Moon Valley is really good overnight float. A gal-pal and I did it once and had a really good time. No problem catching enough fish for 2 meals, and there is a "real" haunted house to check out along the way. Do NOT go upstairs ! 👻
moguy1973 Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Doesn't look like there's a place to park but if you could have someone pick you up at Hico Bridge it would cut that 20 miles in about a third: -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

Pretty sure they said they left a vehicle there but they are from that area and might have access we don't. It's on the list though. Buddy went down to Charity last summer to see if we had enough water to float and found a family living down there.
Members Dirtrider389 Posted April 12, 2019 Author Members Posted April 12, 2019 I've been down there once with my neighbor, wade fished for a little while until our feet went numb, didn't catch anything. But it's so close I had to ask Daryk Campbell Sr 1
