moguy1973 Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Good luck with the high muddy water -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
STLbassbuster Posted May 3, 2019 Author Posted May 3, 2019 I don't mind. Spinnerbaits, cranks, and if I am lucky the right one will eat a buzzbait. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
STLbassbuster Posted May 6, 2019 Author Posted May 6, 2019 Well it was tough fishing in big Indian. We tried points with Spinnerbaits & cranks. I tried a jig, chatterbait, buzzbait...nope not having it(I think we focused too shallow). No love on the underspin either. So we ran way up the creek and my dad got into some white bass and one nice crappie. I stuck with bass gear and still no love. If I was fishing tomorrow I would pass on the creek arms and try the the lower end of the lake below the dam. Still a great day to be on the water. Lots of boats out until we hid in the creek. Haris122 Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 Did better than I did. I went Saturday and Sunday with 2 fishing buddies of mine, one of whom has a boat, and we we're going for crappie. They caught a few crappie on minnows, along with a little bass, but I struck out mainly fishing tubes and smaller cranks for Crappie. STLbassbuster and Daryk Campbell Sr 2
