I'm doing a little planning for a day excursion around June 10th, and might stop here if the water discharge at the dam at Taneycomo  prevents wading for trout. What sort of fishing can I expect? I'll be armed with flyrods, spinning tackle, and could even sling some bait.

The pothole is a great spot but often flooded out ...I agree hit Taney, with all this rain it will be hard to get to for that kind of fishing....

MONKEYS? what monkeys?

This is helpful, but want to know, can it be fished at all in those conditions? It's more of  a backup plan in case Taney isn't fishable, and I'm not in any way opposed to fishing with conventional tackle/methods even from the bank.
