Got tired of the giant rooster tail washing one side of my motor cowling.

Here is my fix, poor peoples' got poor ways.

Hope this helps, most welders will have a trash can full of these.

Tried it out yesterday, It works ! 

I will be selling these soon, its boat stuff, so they will cost at least $50.

Yep I have a few of the plastic welding rod boxes.  But my boat don't go fast enough to make a rooster tail and the tiny little transducer I have isn't a problem.  As long as what you made works it is good.

I never had a problem, until I got the giant side scan transducer that rides below the plane of the boat. More is not always better.
