Johnsfolly Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Saturday I took my wife and daughter out to Delaware to surf fish. It was fairly windy and there was a chop on the water. The waves made it difficult to tell if we were getting bites. We fished high lo rigs. One with bloodworms and the other with sand fleas. Only caught one fish during a couple hours of fishing. I thought that I had hooked a plastic bag. Not too far off when I landed a striped burrfish. A relative of the puffers. @Ham thought that it looked like grumpy cat . We decided to head to the Ocean City inlet pier to try and catch some fish with the high tide. Livie down sized her hook and bottom fished near the pier pilings. She had the fun of catching over 35 tiny to small sea bass. Her catch of the day was this striped searobin. This was her 70th species on her lifelist . MoCarp, Quillback, Ham and 1 other 4
