Dutch Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 It has been a long dry spell for me. I haven’t been able to get on the water for over a month. I just have time for a short run in the morning. Anyone who can give me current conditions and a probable bite will be my new best friend.
Royal Blue Posted June 14, 2019 Posted June 14, 2019 We hammered them in the rain on Wednesday. 6XD on points and the Bill Babler pig sticker jig did most of the damage. It wouldn't be a good day for me if I didn't catch a keeper on a spinner bait and we had a handful on the War Eagle in the rain. Probably had 20+ keepers. Not a ton of size with the biggest being 2.96 according to the scale. Easily my best day in a long time though. Had a limit by 8:00 and it didn't really slow down until noon. Dutch Posted June 14, 2019 Author Posted June 14, 2019 We went up. Caught fish on spinner bait, buzz bait and plastics. Wound up catching over 40 but only 4 keepers. The fish were healthy and fat. We could not get any deep fish at all. They were from 2 to 8 feet deep. magicwormman, Quillback and Royal Blue 3
