Quillback Posted June 15, 2019 Posted June 15, 2019 That looks like a big ol' gill - how many inches is it? Â Did you see any top water striper activity? Â
MOPanfisher Posted June 15, 2019 Posted June 15, 2019 Wish I had me a bucket of them gills, delicious! dan hufferd 1

Not much top water, only of the gar/carp like action. That little gill was 8", I need to wash my measuring board. Marked several large fish on sonar in open water around the 15' range, I think gar. Very strong sonar reflection. I was looking for deep schools, due to my late arrival, but no luck. I did see some white dots in deep trees 80ft on the DI who knows??? Â
Quillback Posted June 15, 2019 Posted June 15, 2019 8" gill is a good one for these highland reservoirs. dan hufferd 1
